I did lose about 4 kilograms but the thickness of my arms is the same, the only difference is that the fats all been converted to muscles..
I do feel toned up but I want a more leaner body..
The same goes for my calves and thighs..
The weight training exercises that I do are flat bench press(5pounds), lat pulldown(2p), seated rowing(2p), incline bench press(5p), overhead dumbell press(5p), front dumbell press(5p), shoulder press(machine-1pound), overhead dumbell fly(5p), shrugs(7.5p), barbell curl(no weight), cable curl(2p), tricep extension(5p), pull down tricep extension(2p), etc for the upper body and free squats, squats(5p), sumo squats(10p), lunges, leg press(4p), leg extension(2p), leg curl(2p), abductor & adductor machines(6pounds both) and also a bit of standing and sitting calf raises.. for the lower body..
I don't really cound the instructors and tried to speakin to some of my friends at the gym who are doing really good and they asked me to avoid the calf raises and the shoulder press and the leg press and use lighter weights for each exercise which I think am already doing.. but my thighs look more like basketball thighs and my calves dont have the smoothness, they're pretty muscled up.. how to get baack to being lean and yet lose all the arm and thigh flab ?
Please guide me for this is the first time am gyming..
My cardio is going good though, I cycle, run and work on the elliptical fuh 15 mins alternate days.. but I wanted to know how does the elliptical/cross trainer help ?
Thanks.. :)
