You can nonetheless turn out to be a private instructor. Just for the reason that you've got "the appear" does now not imply you're a satisfactory instructor. I paintings with any one who has consistently lifted weights, however fails within the class of attentiveness and proper variety whilst coaching consumers. He spends normally strolling his mouth or checking textual content messages. Go for it woman!

Some certifying organizations such as NASM & ACE are thought as a curriculum at colleges and universities. In addition, those organizations, and many others, offer self-study preparation courses for a personal trainer certification exam.

Although currently it is not mandatory by law to become certified in order to work as a personal trainer (U.S.) most employers prefer their trainers to be certified. Furthermore, some personal trainer certifications offer significantly better career prospects than others...http://howtobecomepersonaltrainer-pft.com/best-personal-trainer-certifications/

Personal trainer is not a good occupation except for those who may need pocket money while doing something better with their life such as going to college. Think about it. Who wants to pay a personal trainer? Almost no one. Who wants to be a personal trainer? Just about everyone who is like you...people who love working out and enjoy helping others. So, what does that tell you about your earning potential? It's gonna be minimum wage with no benefits. It's roughly the equivalent of flipping burgers at McDonalds. Over supply + minimal demand = bad pay in the job market.

I would urge you to look into related occupations such a physical therapist or occupational therapist. Or, if you prefer, be a physical ed major so you'll have opportunities in sports or maybe education. Those examples require a baccalaureate degree, command a decent salary with benefits. Certifications for "trainer" can be bought for $100 and don't mean much to anyone.

Browse the employment ops in news papers. Set up a Linkedin profile and network online with others in related fields. Talk to personal trainers at gyms. Look into vocational counseling. Etc. But do your homework before making any financial or long term commitments.

Good luck and good health!!
