i've heard that eating oily fish is heatlhy as long as you eat it no more than once a week. however another source says that males can eat upto 4 servings a week.
i eat about 2 servings a week and was wondering wether this is safe or would it damage my health in the long term?

My husband and myself take Omega 3 gel caps everyday and also eat tuna (in water or olive oil) and sardines and sometimes another fish. If the oil you are talking about is the fish oil(natural) or olive or soy oil. That is great I never heard of eating fish only one or two times a week. From what I understand the more the better. Except if it is not the oils I mentioned. Happy Health to you!!!

No your body need fatty Oil acids. You can replace by buying Omega 3 Vitamins and taking them daily. Along with co q10 as this is recommended for the heart. Take care. Also you may want to broil the fish.

all depends, is the oil 10w30 or 10w40 ........oh I see not that kind .........well any fish that's from deep waters [ like salmon] can be eaten more than twice a week. others like tuna are said to have Mercury at unsafe levels the rule of thumb is don't over do anything
