i'm trying to lose weight. i'm not really sure if i should eat a light dinner or just skip it. i eat breakfast and lunch.

No have a good size breakfast (2-3 eggs, an apple, some coffee or water.) A small lunch like a salad or something. And then a good size dinner like grilled chicken with a side of salad and a banana. Just be healthy NO skipping meals. Oh and for snack have some carrots or something to get some vegetables.

Skipping meals is never a good idea. When you do that, your body goes into survival mode because you are not eating for such a long time. When it does that, it will store the next meal you have as because you are not eating on a regular schedule. If you want to lose weight, eat small, healthy meals throughout the day and don't skip.

It's never good to skip any meal. If you cut calories drastically, your body enters what some call a "starvation state" where it literally thinks you are starving and it will convert as many calories it can into fat in response to that.
So in the end you're gaining more weight than you need to.
I suggest eating a lighter dinner, or even, many light meals throughout the day.

Don't skip meals to lose weight. Your metabolism needs to keep working if you want to lose weight so eating little and often is the best way to do it. Are you sure you need to lose weight? If you have checked and you are sure then eat protein at every meal, wholegrain carbs, lots of veg except potatoes and limit fruit to one piece a day. Lots of water and no soda, even diet soda. Exercise regularly and you'll lose weight this way.

Well its really bad to skip a meal and diet by eating little or starving. Just eat a healthy dinner and maybe exercise.

No just eat what is recommended, like protein, eat lean. When you skip meals your body goes to your muscle and starts to eat it, as an alternative source of energy, being skinny isn't hot, it's anorexic.

You should just eat less. Don't skip dinner because along with losing weight, not eating can also make you pale, make your hair fall out, make you weak, and depressed. So please eat (: Just diet and eat a little less or healthier (:

DO NOT SKIP ANY MEAL. just have salad on the side and eat healthy- like lean meat or anything healthy. and keep your portions a good size- not to big and not to small.
and go on the treadmill daily

No you'll actually gain Weight. Your body goes in starvation mode. So when you eat breakfast it stores it as fat.
