I'm 5 feet 6 inches and I weigh 122 pounds. Is this overweight?
I've struggled with Bulimia for years, so my views of underweight/overweight are messed up.

thats actually on the thin side. im 17 and weight 138, im an inch or so taller than you. i used to struggle with body issues. at one point i weighed 113 lbs which was definitely too skinny but not anorexic skinny. luckily i realized that what i was doing was not good for me. now i am happy, athletic, healthy and i almost never weigh myself. it may take personal experience to realize how to be happy with yourself but i think your height and weight sounds perfect and you could even gain a few pounds and still look great!

NO. You cereal? I'm only 50kg and people are convinced I starve myself.
It all depends on your body type, but even then- you're taller than me and not much heavier. If you're so obsessed with being overweight then the first thing to do is to try and stop your bulima- starving the body then eating makes the body think there's a food shortage so every peice of pood you each it clutches on to. Also, constant vomiting can burn the oesophegus and in some cases even disjoint in from the stomach- that's when people start coughing up blood.
So, yeah, just mention to someone you have body issues if you don't wanna reveal you bulimic tendencies. And really, you're probably on the underweight-healthy side of the scale.
(oh yeah, I had to convert to kilograms. I'm 50 kilograms, and in kilograms your 55)

Healthy pounds loss could be achieved fairly Be realistic. Do not anticipate a miracle. Healthy weight loss may be achieved fairly quickly, but you will have to be patient. Additionally, be positive to set realistic objectives. Ensure that the weight you're trying to reach can be a healthy pounds for you, and keeping in mind that gaining pounds of muscle will help you shed fat, be trimmer, and appear much better even though you don't actually shed any weight. Your goal must be a healthy body, not a amount of pounds! Every person looks great at a diverse pounds. A short person may possibly appear actually great at about 112 pounds, but a person of a taller height would just appear unhealthy. Maintain your self at a fat that makes you look good, not at a quantity that sounds excellent.

try this ideal weight calculator, based on age, gender and height. It gives you the per cent of people heavier than you, too. And shows you how you compare to others:
