Question:
Could I lose weight from this diet plan? Is this healthy?

Breakfast-
Special K Red Berries
Cup of strong coffee with skimmed milk and sweeteners.

Lunch-
Cheese sandwich with pickle on wholemeal bread.
Water or juice.
Every few days, a packet of Walkers crisps.

Snack-
Cup of tea with sweeteners.
Special K bar.

Dinner-
Special K red berries.
3 pieces of fruit.

I also try and drink a few glasses of water and go spinning and swimming both once a week. I'm 147 pounds and 5.2- how long do you think it will take me to get down to 135 pounds?

special k is okay for breakfast, but do you really want to eat that all day? You can eat a variety, you just have to choose the right stuff. You aslo dont have to starve yourself, just eat the RIGHT things.



Breakfast: Your meal is fine, but maybe cut the sweetner if it is an artificial one, they really arent much better than regular old sugar. Theyre just a bunch of... artificial chemicals that taste sweet. Eat fruit or oatmeal for breakfast too



Lunch: a nice lean turkey sandwich wont be bad for you if you dont load it up with mayo and such. I like turkey with cheese and lettuce and tomato. It doesnt have to be big, but that sounds better than a cheese sandwich with pickle, doesnt it? Eat another banana, orange or apple then with your lunch. Drink water, juice is full of sugar and more artificial sweetners (unless its all pure juice, then thats fine).



Snack: try a tea that doesnt need sweetners. I REALLY like peppermint and licorice tea (or combine the flavors, yum!) it doesnt need sugar at all! Substitute your special k bar with natrual yogurt (the kind that isnt full of sweetners) and/or almonds. Seriously, almonds are power foods.



Dinner: You really can do SO MUCH with this meal! skip the cereal and try something like a SMALL portion of a lean meat, like turkey, chicken or fish. Pan fry with spices and olive oil, no breaded or fried meat. Lean beef cuts are okay once in awhile too. Pair with rice, steamed veggies, or a salad with vinegar and olive oil dressing. A glass of red wine wont hurt, and may actually be benefitial with dinner. Alot more pleasant than your cereal dinner isnt it?



A healthy diet, your active schedule, and drinking lots of water throughout the day should help you loose the wieght. It may take some time, but if you stick to it, you should see some results.

No... i mean it's not bad, but you could make it much much better.



Scrap the Special K and have Porridge instead. Or muesli if you want cold cereal.



Don't have cheese on your sandwich - have ham or tuna or chicken or any other meat. Have a varied salad too - tomatoes, onions, spinach, whatever.



Don't have a special K bar snack - have a handful of nuts and dried fruit instead.



For dinner, porridge again if you want cereal.

To be honest your plan is ultimately going to fail for several reasons:

- not enough variety.

- nothing learned about good eating plans.

- you don't have a clue about the number of calories in it.

- you aren't tracking what food groups you are eating.

This sounds like a healthy and balanced diet. And you should notice the weight coming off you in no time but don't give up.

Sounds good however when reading a weight loss diet plan article on http://www.teenageworkouts.com it said stay away from coffee when trying to lose weight!

Sounds good, but I wouldn't add crisps, just in case you eat them, then your body wants more and it makes you binge. Trust me, I suffer with this from doughnuts. :(
