Question:
Will i lose my body if i stop eating beef anf pork?

I have been thinking about whether or not I want to stop eating beef and pork, and eventually any other animals . The reason I'm thinking is because I feel really bad for the animals. I've watched way too many peta videos since I liked their fan page on facebook, and now I'm starting to regret it. My boyfriend voiced a concern that I may lose my body. I'm not a "thick" or even chunky girl, I'm on the slimmer side. 5'6 size 5/6, I don't have a huge butt or boobs as is, and we're worried that my change of diet will make me lose weight that I don't want to lose

I basically want to know if my change in diet will make me lose weight. I do exercise 4-6 times a week because I play tennis for my university so, it's not optional.

And also I want to know how you feel about my reason for deciding to stop eating beef pork, and eventually other animal products.

Yes you will lose weight. You know the PETA organization over dramatizes their videos. I bet you that 90% of those videos come from foreign meat slaughter houses. Think about it. Every single organization that wants to get your attention is always in your face and over dramatic. I would not consider those videos as hard fact. Meat has complete protein in it, which is vital to humans. There are ways, like the combo of rice and beans, to form a complete protein, but you will have to consume way more. I'm sure your body isn't use to it and will probably protest in the transition.

Pork, then chicken I could give up easily. If I think too much about what I'm eating when I eat these meats now, I feel a little sick. I never eat lamb or duck or any off-beat varieties. I would miss beef and fish the most.

great question! losing weight will definitely make you feel better and you will feel healthier overall, BUT before you get started on your weight loss and fitness plan you need to understand what is going to work for you, its an individual thing and not all diets work for everyone we are all different!

you may not be losing weight because you are eating the wrong foods, the wrong amount of calories per meal and you are probably eating at the wrong times of day.

my friend has been telling me all about this and has been using a program that has really worked for her and i am finding out about it myself as well, if you are interested just copy and paste the link below into your browser

you can get started today so good luck!

Pork contains quite a lot of unwanted fat, but when cut that off and cook it completely, it is pretty minimal. It is definitely as much as you if you need to lower pork from your diet program. The two pork and beef include numerous growth hormones (seeing that they're needed to expand as easily as you possibly can so that you can offer even more meat), that are not high-quality for human ingestion. That's what you can actually tell families. Also, you could mention the ethics of growing these animals so quickly they quite often cannot stroll towards the finish of their lives if you'd like.

No you can be a vegie and still maintain your weight. The main thing you need meat for is protein so things like nuts and the like will help. Nuts are great for keeping weight on. I run long distances and do some weights too so my problem even with meat is weight lose and muscle loss. If I have a heavy week exercise wise I eat loads of nuts

If you do decide to partake on this decision I would highly suggest some protein supplements for the exchange of meats especially if you play sports. Make sure you consume products with protein such as nuts (cashews, almonds, etc), milk, black beans/garbanzo beans, etc. Also, you might want to consider whey/soy protein powders. They will help you a lot.

It's fine to not eat meat, but you still need your protein!

As for your decision, if you feel right about it then you should go with it. Personally I do not share the same views as you, but I have wanted to try being a vegetarian because meat is expensive here! :)

Diet Tips:

*Drink half your weight in ounces of water daily

*Stay away from all "white" foods (they are simple carbs that turn into glucose easily) - bread, pasta, white rice, white potatoes.

*Eat three meals a day and 3 snacks a day.

*Don't eat anything 3 hours before going to sleep.

*Don't eat any fast food

*Shop around the perimeter of your market. Stay away from packaged foods.

*Take a good multi-vitamin, omega-3, CoQ10, and a good antioxidant every day.

*Do not count calories. It's a myth. The body counts nutrition.

You won't lose your body, you will just lose protein and vitamins, you'll lose your energy. However you can eat so replacements and what they call 'fake' meat such as quorn, which vegetarians eat. Not eating beef and pork won't make you lose weight, however u need meat for protein, so eat other meats like steak fish and chicken along with fruit and veg. Don't listen to your boyfriend! Good luck

firstly you probably will loose weight. you wil also loose out on alot of vitamins but then again you can find suplements.

its usualy not as healthy to miss out on meat but it can be done.

but im guessing if you eat alot of things like nuts and stuff.

i dont realy agree with quiting meats because people feel sorry for animals. yes i have a pet rabbit and i wouldnt dream of eating her. but when thinking about our nature its what we are. we survive by eating meat. and back in the begining we didnt even eat vegetables all we ate was meat.

i think cutting out meat is changing who we are as humans. you wouldnt expect a tiger to become a vegetarian would you?.

also alot of the meat we get the animals aernt tortured to death. its usualy in foreign countries that happens.
