I’m 17 5'10 weigh 140 and I run 3 miles everyday. And I have been eating healthy for a while. But the running part I have been doing for 2 weeks and I have been weightlifting 3 times a week( circuit once out of three). I dont see any abs. Im cut in all other places, but not my stomach. There is like an inch or a half inch there. I also play sports a lot too. My BMI is like 19.4. Does that have to go down? I also do ab excersies, but i dont know how much i should be doing. What should I do about this, to get abs and will growing taller help me?

just keep doing your ab exercises...it is one of the hardest muscles to grow...i know...it took me 2 1/2 months to finally get mine. It will come...you just have to be patient

The first poster is 100% wrong. All the crunches in the world won't get you a six-pack. The key to getting your abs to show is getting your body fat down below 10%, and that takes strict diet and exercise. It's not just what you eat, but how much you eat and how often you eat. Here's a tip: Check out the Discussion boards on the Mens Health website (http://www.menshealth.com/). You'll learn everything you need to know about what to eat, what to avoid, how much to eat, how often to eat, and the best workouts for getting that washboard midsection. Good luck!

When you are doing any kind of excersies, running, weightlifting, ect... engage your stomach muscles (hold your stomach muscles in).
