I don't know what your weight and height are so don't know if you are overweight or not. At 13, there are a lot of changes going on in your body. Ask your parents to take you to your pediatrician for a discussion in this regard. Your doctor can assess what your weight should be, and if you do need to lose weight, can put you and your parents in touch with a nutritionist who can be of very valuable assistance when it comes to planning meals that are healthy AND delicious. Brisk walking is a great exercise. Oh, and here's a tip -- you don't want to lose weight too fast because it will affect your metabolism and make it more difficult to maintain a normal weight in the future. Losing 1 or 2 pounds a week is doable and safe, and won't stress your system. Good luck!

If you're a kid, you may not have much choice about what you eat. You may be stuck with whatever is put in front of you, but maybe you have some influence with the cook.

To get to a desirable weight, go vegan. It does not involve counting calories or worrying about portion size. Eat all you want. Vegans do not eat animal products, just plant products. Animal products are meat, fish, eggs, milk and things made from milk, such as cheese, yogurt, ice cream, etc. Milk and eggs find their way into lots of things, so you have to read labels. When milk goes sour, it separates into two parts. The white stuff that floats to the top is curds. The brown stuff at the bottom is whey, and it shows up in lots of places like baked goods and canned soup.

Humans are basically vegetarian creatures who can eat animal products when the necessity or the opportunity arises. Until fairly recently, getting enough calories to avoid starvation was a big problem. Lots of people died in the winter, not from freezing, but from starvation. Any animal that wandered by was likely to get eaten by vegetarians. Now we don't have to contend with starvation, and eating vegan will not only make you thin, it will add more than a decade to your life expectancy.

How old are you? Are you over weight? Do you eat your large meal before you go to bed? 4to5 small meals through out the day keeps your metabolism up and also your energy! Even eating a salad especially with dressing less than 2 hrs before your bedtime causes weight gain and a less efficient metabolism. More details about you and your habits in this dieting would help, Be safe Are there individual problem areas you need to address the tread mill is a good warm up and cardio if done right but for body shaping you need to pin point trouble areas, Your actual poundage should not matter as much as your fitness and measurements. Muscle does weighs more than fat!!

I've tried literally every diet invented, gimmicks and all! I really hope you give this a shot, it's the only way that I was able to lose the weight and get support throughout the process! The key to losing and maintaining weight is to find a lifestyle you enjoy. Otherwise, you will jump from diet to diet, never to lose the weight which is VERY frustrating!! The way I did it was joined (free) healthsidekick.com .Super easy and you can do it for life, that was really important to me! I was introduced to it one day while logging on myfitnesspal. I absolutely LOVE it, it's so easy!! HSK gives you a "zero weight loss number" (based on your criteria) You either eat below your zero weight loss number to lose, at to maintain or above to gain...it's that simple! Tons of groups to join, I joined the low carb group called "AtkinsBound" but if that's not your gig then there are many other groups to join as well. They also have live daily chat and on Wednesdays, there's a scheduled chat for all HSK members to join in on (4-6 PM PST). Tons of recipes, tips and advice in whichever group you choose to join or you can incorporate your own diet into the program. I also walk, jog or hike daily and do light weights 3 x a week but you can do whatever exercise you chose, just log it and HSK will adjust it into you zero weight loss number:) Anyways, I hope this helps:) Good luck!

From my own personal researches, I guess I can just say stay committed to something. You should have a plan, not necessarily a diet plan. My dad always tells me that I can eat what I want but just not a lot. You can look up exercise plans and you can increase that kind of stuff. Look up how many calories you should eat a day and make sure you count calories and when it comes to exercising, try not to overdo it. Some ideas for exercising could be weights, walking/jogging/running, push-ups, crunches, squats, etc. I hope this answer was somewhat helpful and good luck

You know what you're probably doing wrong? You're overeating. It doesn't matter what you eat, too much makes your stomach stretch and bloat. And 10 sit-ups isn't gonna help unless it's 10 an hour. I did 350 sit-ups today. Reduce your portions by half, drink more water, exercise more and you'll lose weight. If you want to drop weight super fast, eat less than 200 calories a day and work out a lot. It forces your body into ketosis. Also try doing cardio and swimming. If you want to lose around 5 pounds in a week, don't eat for three days or of the week and exercise vigorously on those days. On the other four days, eat less than 500 calories and work out. Hope I helped!

You should try eating healthier instead of eating less. Believe it or not, you won't lose any weight by just exercising, you need to eat right too .Also 10 pushups and 10 situps is too little. There is a bunch of videos on the internet on different workouts. Just remember to drink a lot of water and not eat anything after 7 or 8 pm. Good luck!

Here's you plan:

1. Drink 1.5 gallons of water a day

2. When you eat carbs, only eat complex carbs like oatmeal and brown rice. Keep carb intake under 80g a day.

3. Cut out all sugars...that means fruit, soda, breads and a ton of other stuff. Read the label of everything you eat before you eat it. Lots of labels hide sugar by calling it something else, ie. fructose, sucraloe, dextrose and so on

4. Walk for an hour a day. It doesn't have to be fast, just walk.

Now, eating less food won't help. That'll give less energy to exercise and will bring your health down. Also, by eating less, you'll want to eat more fatty foods. Another thing is that you want to get plenty of sleep. Less sleep means slower metabolism, but too much means the same thing. Hope this helps. Also, since you're 13, you may go through a growth spurt, which will even out the weight through out your body, making you skinnier.

Sorry, there is no fast, easy, and still healthy way - otherwise everyone would do it. It takes work and commitment.

You need a regular exercise plan. 10 pushups and 10 situps are not enough; they simply don't burn enough calories. You need something sustained and aerobic, like running or swimming. Make an appointment with your doctor - he/she can help you create a safe and effective exercise plan, and also explain about nutrition. You don't want to starve yourself - you still need good nutrition to help your body function. Your parents can help you figure out healthy food to eat.

try not to snack. it takes time to lose weight. if you lose it all at once it comes right back (sorry to break it to you)don't eat after 5:00pm, when you eat, immediately burn all the calories you gained (track your caloric intake and if you gain 180 calories, you walk or run for maybe half an hour and you're good) DO NOT STARVE YOURSELF OR FORCE YOURSELF TO VOMIT!!!!! they are very dangerous and if it turns out wrong, you only end up gaining more weight. stay positive because stress causes cravings and stay entertained (join teams) so you're not bored enough to snack. go to sleep early and exercise for at least 60 minutes STRAIGHT for a day. trust me this is all very important.

Hello Brother First of all 10 pushups and 10 situps are not enough to loss weight. You need to burn more and more fat for weight loss.

Check how much calories you are eating in a day and workout properly to burn that calories.

It will definitely help you. Eat healthy and low carbs food.

Go for a run daily, it doesnt have to be long just for about half an hour a day. If you can go twice a day. If you find it too hard to run then walk. I hope this helps. Maybe try eating less or more healthy foods

Seriously though, sugar makes you gain weight. Starches digest into sugar. Sugar tells insulin to store energy as fat or use energy. Stay active, don't worry about artificial exercise like sit ups and weight lifting. Climb trees. Run barefoot. Jump and swim. Don't eat refined starch, breads, pastas. Fat is actually not what makes you fat. It doesn't work like that. When you eat salad it doesn't turn to salad lol. Fat doesn't turn to fat. Fat is necessary for a functioning body. It surrounds your nerves.

People who plan their weekly meals are more successful at losing weight than those who don’t. Plan your dishes to add healthy carbs such as special potato and wholegrain pasta, green vegetables and lean proteins, buy all of the ingredients in advance and don’t be tempted to enjoy out or order in.

Use spray oil as opposed to pouring. One squirt contains only 1 calorie compared to 120 calories from your tablespoon. If you use oil with your cooking daily, this small change could lose that you simply stone over the year.

You don't need to eat less, but for the calories you eat, you have to burn them off. SO if you ate 1500 calories one day, you'd have to exercise and burn off more calories than you ate. Biking at an average speed burns 360 calories an hour, for example.

13 is puberty, and your body is changing from the little girl shape, to a woman's. Women are MUCH more curvy than kids. Many at your age think they are getting fat. Nope; you are just growing up.

Cold showers: They not only burn 500 extra calories every day, studies from The New England Journal of Medicine cite that this icy water also activates ‘brown fat’ – the excellent type of body fat of which creates body heat, increases fat burning capacity and burns off naughty white fat.

Go bland. Plain, simple, unseasoned food such as grilled chicken, plain rice and a bare-skinned baked potato are nutritious your palette will tire of them quickly, unlike salty moreish refined food, which keeps you snacking and piling around the pounds.

Sweden's new dietary guidelines is low carb high fat or LCHF for short. That recommendation is based on 16 000 studies along with clinical evidence. Just turn the USDA food pyramid upside down. :) Low Carb High Fat Diets - Paleo, LCHF, Atkins, Primal, Ketogenic.

"People who avoid carbohydrates and eat more fat, even saturated fat, lose more body fat and have fewer cardiovascular risks than people who follow the low-fat diet that health authorities have favored for decades, a major new study shows."

You left out 3 things: your height, weight and sex. You can lose 10 lbs/mo with this low-carb food/exercise plan:

Breakfast: Cook oatmeal or health food store cereal in water with wheat bran. Make a pot of it on weekends and nuke 1/2 cup each morning. Then stir in low fat milk or yogurt, banana, walnuts and berries. Drink hot Ovaltine. Breakfast should be your largest meal of the day to raise blood sugar level which falls during the night.

Lunch: Egg, tuna or turkey ½ sandwich on multi-grain (not just whole wheat) bread with bean or alfalfa sprouts, yogurt, fresh fruit. If you had meat loaf for dinner, bring a meat loaf sandwich on whole grain bread (NO mayo). On cold days, a squatty thermos of hot chili, split peas with ham, or beef stew.

Snacks: Fresh (not canned) fruit. Nothing ever from a vending machine. Fruit smoothies (frozen thawed fruit, yogurt, banana)

Dinner: salad with white meat chicken and fresh (not canned) veggies: tomatoes, 2 kinds of lettuce, 2 kinds of shredded cabbage, shredded or sliced carrots, alfalfa or bean sprouts, zucchini, green or red peppers, hard boiled eggs, brussels sprouts, broccoli, cauliflower, tofu, cottage cheese, spinach...Instead of dressing, squeeze 1/4 tomato over it.

Or homemade bean/vegetable soups; great way to recycle leftovers.

Or grilled fish with steamed veggies.

Or omelet: In blender, whip together eggs, tofu, cottage cheese, onions, garlic powder. Cook with mushrooms, chopped tomatoes and green or red peppers.

Avoid junk food, fast foods, anything from a vending machine, gluten, pastries, desserts, syrup (even canned fruit in syrup), peanut butter, fat/grease (pork, wieners, chops, bacon, salami, pizza, chips, fries), pasta, potatoes, ramen, popcorn, white bread, rice, canned veggies, ice cream (it’s lard + chemicals), chips, tobacco, alcohol (damages brain).coffee (carcinogenic). no oil except olive and mac nut. Sodas (loaded with toxins; leads to stroke, obesity, kidney damage, high BP), anything with sugar (cancer cells feed on sugar, it wreaks havoc on your liver, mucks up metabolism, impairs brain function, makes you more susceptible to heart disease and diabetes),

To keep your skin clear, drink water, tea, veggie juice, unsweetened fruit juice.

Join a gym; they have all the equipment and staff to show you how to use it to get the look you want to achieve, but you have to ask them. Much cheaper than buying your own equipment.

Go hiking, biking, jogging, bowling, swimming, surfing, skating, rowing, jump rope, play tennis, badminton, volleyball, soccer, jumping jacks, lift weights, trampoline? To tone your tummy, do sit ups, push ups, pull ups, leg lifts, butt raises and crunches.

For more energy, take Super B complex. Try appetite suppressants.
