I am not sure about the grain content, but I have read that bread should have no more than 50 calories per slice. You will be surprised just how many calories are in bread alone. I enjoy the Weight Watchers Whole Grain.

Most whole grain breads are healthy. The best ones are %100 whole grain, in that they have no white flour in them at all. It's important to read labels when buying foods for their health value. Try to get ones that are only whole grains and have as few ingredients as possible besides the whole grains. Variety is also important, so you don't have to stick to just one particular type. Each grain has a different ratio of nutrients. Fillers, additives refined sugars, and white flours, ... those are the things you want to avoid. The more natural and least processed foods are the healthiest.

breads that contain whole grains are the healthiest and white bread would be the worst.
