i work out at home a lot.

i use workout videos, i own an elliptical machine, i use 4lb weights for my arms, do floor exercises and just started pilates stretching. and i go running four days a week at least.

i mix these all up since i cannot afford a gym membership and it works for me! i average 2 hours of intentional exercise a day.

i also enjoy water aerobics when i have time, it's only 3 bucks a session!

more calories OUT than IN.

If you have stairs, those are great for toning your muscles and also keeping your heart rate up. Crunches, push ups, etc are also good ones. If you're willing to spend just a little money, you can buy some small hand-held weights to use at home, as well as a resistance band. You shouldn't have to spend more than $20 for these. Lots of things that you could do with those. If you have a large yard, run laps if you like.

There are many different things you can do around the house, even if you don't have a lot of time, or don't like exercising.

To lose weight you have to eat less of your healthy food. No amount of exercise can overcome too many calories.

To give you an example - 15 minutes of rope jumping consumes 100 calories. Buy a jump rope and try doing it for 15 minutes. There are many websites that tell you how many calories an exercise will burn away. The more you eat the more exercise you'll have to do, but with uncontrolled eating no amount of exercise will be enough.

It takes about 3500 calories to make a pound of body fat. If you skip rope for 525 minutes you will burn one pound of weight off. This assumes that you are only eating enough calories to maintain your weight - I would guess around 2000 calories a day.

If you are giving yourself 30 days to lose 5 pounds, then that would be 2625 minutes of jumping rope, or about 90 minutes or rope jumping every day for 30 days. If you want to lose 10 pounds, that would be 3 hours of jumping rope every day for 30 days.

If you are eating 500 calories less each day, then you will lose 15000 calories in 30 days. That equals a little more than 4 pounds of weight loss.

If you eat an extra 500 calories a day, then you have to jump rope for 45 minutes just to stay even.

Well, I'd suggest just cut out your carbohydrates, its simple and works, and its not really a diet, its just not eating candy, bread, pasta, etc. Its not that hard. But exercises, at home, go buy a jump rope, put something that can hold down your feet, like a chair, and do crunches, I lost a lot of weight that way.

Do cardio, if you have a treadmill use that for 30-45 minutes a day 3-5 days a week. There are a lot of cardio workout tapes you can use. Do push ups, sit ups squats.

keep eating heathy, do exercises that get your heart rate up and exercises that build muscle. there is no magical plan that works for everybody, just find something you like to do, like jumping rope, riding stationary bike, etc.. buy workout videos, buy an exercise ball, go for jogs, or bike rides. whatever you will be able to do somewhat consistently, will help you lose weight, as long as you keep eating healthy.

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!

If you don't want to diet and you're looking to lose weight from home then you have 2 options: 1) anorexia 2) bulemia

well you could purchase a treadmill or if you dont have the money then jump rope, sit ups, climbing the stairs. even cleaning will give you exercise. pretty much everything you do at home except for eat, sleep, and watch tv, will give you some sort of workout.

don't stop eating. that's dumb, you need calories for energy, you need energy to have a good metabolism, and you need a good metabolism to lose weight. do yoga and pilates, it worked wonders for me!

try some cardio, jogging around block, jump rope....

play some basketball or soccer.
