Ok, so my journey started in 07 when I was diagnosed with Anorexia. Along with Anorexia,as everyone knows I'm sure, comes the depriving and over exercise. My weight was 113lbs and I was 14. Now, I am16 and 215lbs...I know..you're probably thinking I'm a fat **** and all that... That's how I feel ='[..anyways, I have a eating problem now and I can't seem to contain it. I just want to keep eating, but after I feel so guilty. I don't know how to fix it... Does it relate to me having Anorexia or something? I'm desperately seeking help...

everyone likes to eat but i think what helps me is having that will power inside you to not eat....tape a picture of ur favorite actress or something somewhere u will always see it...probs in the kitchen is best and everytime u feel hungry, look at that picture of that skinny person and think to urself, i could look like that. it helps me. also- drink LOTS of water...ice water cuz that burns calories faster than juice and soda and all that s***. good luck!

I'm not an expert on eating disorders, but when you want to eat too much: It can be that you are eating the wrong things. If you eat food with sugar or white flour it can create non-stop hunger. Most pastries, cookies, chips and snack foods do that.

The best is to give yourself protein every few hours, like an egg, some chicken, meat or fish, nuts. Eat it with vegetables. Even raw celery will work. You need fiber. Eat those items first. If you are still hungry eat some healthy carb like brown rice or a little bit of whole grain bread or pasta. Between meals drink a lot of water.

Keeping weigh down is not about deprivation. It's more what you eat and when. If you feed yourself before you get too hungry and eat the good food frequently you can head off the overeating. A tip is to no buy the food you don't want to eat. It's easier to resist it once in the store than all day long when it is in your kitchen.

hi , I wanted to take a shot at your question , I have been the same way just eating alot and its hard not to eat. But, maybe you have emotional eating and try to eat because you are stressed, sad or just to have something to do . My thing is that i have been drinking a glass of water before meals .I heard from a teacher at my college that when we get hungry in fact we may be thirsty. The signals that are sent to our brain are the same but the one for thirst is a little weaker .So we dont answer the signals as thirst but hunger. If you feel that your eating problem is way out of hand you can speak to your doctor to put you on a medication to lessen the urge. Also keep your self busy try to replace fattening foods with healthy and try to join a gym or work out . I notice the more weight i gained the more i wanted to stay less physical and want to eat and sit and i also got really depressed i saw my clothes not fitting, just my body shape changing and i just like gave up but you cant ! I started to go to the gym and workout and not eat as much cause i allow my self 3 meals and alot of water . So I hope this helps if you have any questions or want to talk about your situation email me :) .

Stop with the anorexia, it makes your body age much faster. Also, your body goes into starvation mode, and it keeps the fat that you have, burning muscle tissues, because it doesn't have calories to burn. You can eat 3-6 times in a day and be healthy. I think eating more times is the best way for you because apparently you get hungry often. But have lots of fiber and protein on your diet so you would be full much longer. You can eat every 3-4 hours. But you have to watch for the calories. So, depending on your height and weight and activities, you need a certain amount of calories every day. There's a really good website that can help you with this problem: http://www.livestrong.com/thedailyplate/users/myplate/

I've used it and I quickly got to my goal weight. It asks you how many pounds you want to gain or lose. I hope this helps.

Most people in today's society overeat. Its probably because you are bored, or have nothing else to do with your hands. The best way to start helping yourself is by starting small. Portion things that some in big bags like chips into many smaller bags. That way you'll be more conscious of how much you are eating. Or if you go to McDonald's or something, get a kid's meal, or just a burger. Even if you're not eating the healthiest the little things do matter.

the same thing happened to me, but my highest weight was 200 lbs.

The person above me is right, we do have addictive personalities.

I went back to ana, id rather be skinny and unhealthy, than fat and unhealthy.

however, I dont reccomend anorexia to anyone.

i hope you can find a solution that works for you.

stay strong, you'll find a solution.

take an mp3 player on a few long walks.

start eating healthy.

I also had a overeating problem, until one day I went on the scale and I was 225lbs. That was the day I told myself enough is enough. I started the Atkins program last June and I've lost 60lbs so far. Give it a try it really works.

You have an addictive personality,

first you were addicted to not eating,

now your addicted to eating,

find a new addiction

Of course they are related and it's a mental issue. You need to see a doctor. No shame in that, just truth.

Finding another addiction is not going to help there. Get addicted to not being addicted!!! Rediscover your true self. Try EFT.
