(Don’t worry about spams, they’ll be deleted automatically by Y!A).

As you must know, because you’re an active person, losing some fat reserves might work, for a while, with a low calorie diet, or some dangerous expensive pills you will come to regret taking, but without maintaining or building muscle mass with exercise, the fat reserves will eventually be regained, and some more, since the metabolism will have adapted to lower caloric intake, due to that marvelous adaptable system that is the body.

That is why no weight loss diet even works, at least in the long run and people get frustrated, trying this after that and getting bigger while eating less.

The only good diet is a lifelong healthful one, satisfying your specific needs and then if you need to lose weight, exercise for 3,500 calories for every pound of fat reserves loss that you wish to lose, not taking into account the muscle mass gain and the water and waste fluctuation. Then you get some muscle mass (the real weight loss miracle) to help you along by making everything easier and boosting up your metabolism.

Anybody saying that they can lose weight without fitness is just in the first phase, when it actually happens, before all Hell brakes lose and you end up bigger and bigger, each time your body has to adapt lower and lower.

Wieght training without a doubt. i lost 2 1/2 stone in wieght but still had alot of excess bagage and within 4 weeks of starting wieght training (firstly just on £20 dunbells from argos!?) the difference is really noticable.i put on wieght gaining muscle but look better (i think anyway =P)

i just cannont keep to any diet plan so i just eat what i like but less of it.

Tried Diet pills and suplements but they really increased my anxiety and when i stopped taking them i gained fat really quickly so i think the best way is wieght and resistance training.

Your second answer is correct. Ketogenic diets. Look up the "Palumbo" diet. HIGH protein/MODERATE fats/LOW carbs

What works best, and will always work, is a combination of diet, and cardio. A low calorie diet, reduced calories, and cardio will help you burn more calories daily. All you have to do is burn more calories than you eat daily.

Follow this Diet chart and yoga aasans

It is good that you have sought the help of Yoga to bring your body back into shape. While your practices and measure to eliminate excess weight or what you do is important, what you shouldn’t do is just as important.

* Don’t resort to weight reduction pills or powders of any sort and please avoid crash diets. We shall prescribe you a simple diet that is healthy, easy to follow and will deliver the desired results. See a nutritionist or dietician, if you must, but preferably one who knows and practices Yoga.

Yogic Diet

This is very important, if you wish to get back into shape and develop a healthy, slim and shapely physique. Let your diet be Yogic and Sattvic (pure, light and predominantly vegetarian). This means plenty of raw foods – salads, sprouts and seasonal fruit – vegetable juices, dried fruits and loads of water.

Avoid potatoes, peas, chick peas, grams, peanuts, all non-veg fare, fried, fatty and spicy foods, junk / fast foods, packaged foodstuffs and confectionary products. Also keep away from milk and milk products such as cheeses and butter. But you may have plenty of diluted buttermilk prepared from skimmed milk. Avoid snacking between meals and, as mentioned before, never skip a meal.
