*please no mean comments*
Im a 16 year old girl and i weigh 258 pounds which is extremely obese. I don't think i look as much as i weight but still i need help losing it. I know i cant lose it fast i need to do it over time. I just need help with eating or workout tips. I have a lot of homework and i dont eat that much. I think its mainly not excersising and drinking sodas. What can i do to lose weight safely. My goal weight would be 145. I know its going to take time and effort. I dont have any workout tools. I know all the basics like drinking water. I think i just need a schedule or something. I just need help! i dont like telling people im trying to lose weight because im embarrased. I feel really bad about myself. Do you have any tips or a site that has a workout or eating plan? Or anything i dont really know what to turn to anything will help.

You should try the 666 Fat Burner: http://www.fitness666.com/2012/07/666-fat-burner-home-workout-version.html

I recommended it to my friend, and she started on it a month ago. She’s already lost 16lbs...

I’ve also had some really good results with it personally (a six pack in 3 months from being somewhat overweight!)

Hiiiiiiii! :)

Im 16 as well, Im 190ish lbs, and really want to lose weight. 135 is my goal but I have a very small chest, lol! I'd love to have you be a HEALTHY EATING (not diet!) buddy and I can help with workouts and stuff too! :)

My exercise plan right now is on my last question, easier for you to just look than for me to explain it all. It's 6 weeks until Christmas so I'm working on a six week plan right now.

I also have this awesome website http://www.healthyweightforum.org/eng/calculators/calories-required/ that tells you how many calories exactly you need to eat in order lose weight (as it decreases as you lose weight)

From what Im seeing for both of us it seems to be around 1500 calories eaten will make us lose roughly 2 lbs per week. For me that's with dance class/my workout plan/practicing dance/acting classes. for you thats with no exercise other than like normal amounts of walking, etc. (so that you can calculate in your own)

If you're interested in being my exercise/healthy eating buddy I'd love to help and for you to help me!

Love and prayers! I commend you for wanting to get the weight off.

I go to university in 10 months so I'd like to have it off by then!

P.S. The most important part of trying to lose weight is remembering that you are beautiful, and that you are losing weight for you, not because you look down on yourself, but because you care about yourself enough to be healthy. We can remind each other of that as well and make sure we dont get in to scary eating disorder-y habits!

Easiest way is to stoop drinking sodas and sugar. If ur that desperate for sodas then only drink them on weekends but drink water! Easy habit to break. Also no chips or candy. And try eating as much peper u can- I heard it make u loose some weight.

the only reason your overweight is probably because of your really low metabolism and a good way to work out is go to the gym a couple times a week and eat alot of protein

Okay first off, i am not a personal trainer of any sort but i have a lot of knowledge about proper diet and exercise. i have learned through the years that counting calories is not the only thing you need to keep in mind when trying to lose weight. eating the right foods in the right amounts is the best, safest and easiest way to lose the pounds you want to lose.

Another key component when trying to lose weight is to not skip breakfast. Many people skip breakfast because it is the easiest one to miss.

Breakfast has actually been found to be the most important meal of the day. It kicks starts your metabolism and will keep you energized. Think of your metabolism as a fire. If you throw the biggest log out in the woods onto it, you will put out the flame. If you slowly add small logs to the fire, the fire will grow and with time, everything you put on the fire will burn. This is the same with your metabolism. To apply this analogy to everyday life, when you wake up, start your day with a small meal.

BREAKFAST

1.) 1.5 Cups of bran flakes w/ multi-grain cheerios w/ 1.5 cups of Almond milk and a diced banana w/ COLD water. Eat melon, grapes or strawberries.

2.) 2 eggs w/ whole grain toast and a little bit of butter. Orange juice (organic and freshly squeezed if possible) orange or melon w/ COLD water

3.) Oatmeal w/ glass of Almond Milk and/or COLD water. fresh fruit

4.) yogurt w/ berries (blueberries, rasberries, strawberries) w/ 1/2 cup of organic granola (careful, granola isn't as good for you as it seems - don't eat too much!)

5.) 2 pieces of whole grain toast w/ 1 tablespoon of peanut butter and diced banana w/ COLD water.

6.) Cream of Wheat w/ glass of Almond Milk and/or COLD water

7.) Omelet loaded with veggies (ex. spinach, peppers and tomatoes). w/ COLD water, fresh fruit

*COLD water is best to drink because it takes energy for your metabolism to heat up the water first before it can be used in the body!!!*

After eating breakfast, continue to drink COLD water whenever you feel hunger coming on. Wait 2 to 3 hours before rewarding yourself with a healthy snack.

1.) Apple with 1/2 tablespoon of peanut butter

2.) Vegetables and dip (1 tablespoon of salad dressing rather than 2 tablespoons)

3.) Banana with 1/2 tablespoon of peanut butter

4.) Glass of milk

5.) Orange and strawberries

6.) a bowl of grapes

7.) SMALL (single serving size) or unbuttered popcorn

8.) Greek yogurt

Be sure to watch the amount you eat for 'snack.'Dont over due it because you will be eating lunch in anywhere from 2 to 4 more hours!

*CONTINUE TO DRINK PLENTY OF WATER THROUGHOUT THE DAY!!!!*

LUNCH:

1.) Big salad. Fill it with loads of veggies (spinach, tomato, cucumber, pepper, mushroom, chickpeas, beans, raisins, pineapple, avocado) (also, adding basil really adds flavor!*) DONT OVER DUE THE DRESSING!!!!

2.) Whole grain sandwich with 3 piece of meat, provolone cheese and TONS of veggies. The more the better

3.) Omelet with LOADS of veggies

4.) Fish with salad!

5.) Brown rice with lots of vegetables

6.) Chicken with veggies!

7.) Beans with tomatoes and other veggies

I like to make lunch my biggest meal of the day. Try to eat lunch anywhere from 1 to 3:30 depending on the time you eat breakfast. If you eat a big lunch, it will keep you satisfied for a while so you dont over eat when dinner comes.

Eat a lite HEALTHY snack 2 to 4 hours after lunch. DRINK WATER WHEN YOU FEEL HUNGER! REMEMBER THE COLDER THE BETTER!!

If you want to lose weight faster, working out will get your further, faster. SO GO TO THE GYM!!

Even if its just walking the treadmill for 10 mins and then doing some elliptical and some ab exercises, anything helps.

Dinner:

1.) Salad (LOADS OF VEGGIES!!!)

2.) Chicken breast with a side of veggies

3.) Healthy puree of veggies

4.) Fruit salad with beans

Dinner will become the smallest meal of your day. The reason you dont want to eat a lot for dinner is because any calories that you dont burn before you go to bed, your body will store on your body as body FAT! So, avoid sugary foods and foods that contain a lot of carbohydrates for dinner.

If you feel hungry after dinner, eat some fruit, drink water or tea

i hope this helped! Remember, you are beautiful no matter what size you are :) I really admire your determination to lose weight though. If you are going to go through with this advice however, remember, do NOT starve yourself EVER! Not only is it not fun, but it will set you back on your goal to lose weight. Think of it this way, when your body gets hungry, it is just the fire telling you that it needs more wood or else it is going to burn out. When the fire burns out, you are going to have trouble starting it back up again. So dont let it burn out! if you feel hungry, EAT! Drink Water!!

best of luck :)
