Being a Ph.D student, I cant work out crazily for hours everyday and I know its unhealthy to work out so much.
Since 1 week, I am on a healthy diet:
1) Breakfast at 9:00 a.m - 3 strawberries, a medium apple, a cup of fat free milk.
2) Lunch at 12:00 p.m. - 2 whole wheat sandwiches. (Each sandwhich contains, a fat free cheese slice and egg whites of one egg).
3) Snack at 3:00 p.m. - A bowl of low fat yogurt with boiled black split grams (lentils) mixed in it.
4) Snack at 6:00 p.m. - an orange or a small vegetable salad
5) Workout between 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. - Brisk walking for one hour or jogging for half an hour.
6) Dinner at 9:00 p.m. - A bowl of vegetable soup and half cucumber
7) Sleep at 12:00 a.m.
Can this work on me? I make sure I am not starving, just eating healthy food with all the necessary nutrients.
I eat some almonds in the morning to make sure I am getting the good fat as well. Sometimes, I put pure butter (1/4th of a spoon) on one of the sandwiches so that I dont deprive myself of essential fatty acids.
Is there anything I should do to make sure I get the desired results.
