I need to lose about 8 to 9 pounds. I can eat a healthy breakfast and lunch but dinner i do eat pretty unhealthy and a lot and I usually have dessert and i just can't seem to not eat dessert.
Does anyone have any suggestions about eating healthier later in the day?
How big should my proteins of breakfast, lunch, and dinner be?

If you would like to lose weight try eating healthier six times a day, between two and three hours of each other. This will speed up your metabolism because your blood sugar will be more consistent. This also prevents against chronic illnesses in the future. Some other suggestions is only eating foods that are low on the glycemic index, eating protein first at every meal, and drinking green tea is it speeds up fat oxidation. Make sure you are also getting 100 percent of your daily reccomendation of fiber.

I never eat dessert.
Here's what I do.
Wake up early...drink something.
Go running/jogging/walking 4 or 5 miles. ( I run)
Drink water.
Lunch-salad usually, fruit, water, crackers
run again at about 3pm- only 2 or 3 miles
shower
wait until dinner for next meal
Dinner- eat as much as you want because you'll digest it by tomorrow. But try to make SOME good choices!!
DON'T EAT ANYTHING AFTER 8PM. NO DESSERT.

portion control. you can eat foods you like as long as you don't have a huge amount of them, and maybe try switching your bad desert for a good one. like strawberry shortcake, or fat free frozen yogurt. you just have to be motivated to make a few small changes.
