The reason i am overweight is because i am sooo hungry all the time. I eat a full meal and im hungry again an hour later. even half an hour. I cant take appetite suppressants because they cause me to have heart pulpatations and anxiets attacks. Please dont say drink water. It doesnt fill you up.

yes, it does, if it's water with gas! Pity that you can't take suppressants, they do work for a while - 2-3 weeks - and you'd be able to shrink your stomach. Your problem is - your stomach is too big, due to overeating, and it wants to be full all the time. You should aim at shrinking it.

Start your meal with a cabbage salad and water with gas. It will fill you inside wonderfully, and you can eat as much of it as you wish. You will eat less, and feel full longer then. Of course, while you "dupe" your stomach as to the fullness, the question of calories will still remain. After a while it will discover that it did not receive the needed amount of calories to feed your body and will cry foul. You should start some light exercising - not hard ones, so as not to have a good appetite. What about energetic walking every day for an hour? It will reduce your body size, consequently, you will need less calories, that is, less food.

Here are a few suggestions.

-Eat fewer carbs. Carbohydrates burn off quickly, which is why chinese food (mainly consisting of rice, etc) doesn't keep you filled.

-Portion out smaller meals throughout the day. Plan on eating five or six times a day, but in smaller quantities.

-You didn't want to hear this, but drink water. Not because it fills you up, but because if you don't get enough, your stomach can feel like it's hungry.

- When you do eat, make sure it's something substantial. Something like meat, or roughage that stays in your system longer.

Other than that, there's not much you can do short of stomach stapling/LAP band surgery. I hope this helps.

When you feel hungry even you have eaten not long ago drink a large glass of water. Also you may need extra protein with meal. Sometimes a protein supplement is a good idea added to skim milk or similar. Protein is known to curb hunger pangs. Too much carbohydrate will fill you up for a short while but will either will be used as energy or stored as fat. Protein takes longer to digest thus feeling fuller for longer.

Eat small meals regurlary instead of main meals, make sure you are eating a healthy breakfast. Make sure you are eating all the right foods like fruit, veggies etc.. Excericse for at least half an hour a day. Doing that should keep you fuller for longer.

Your stomach is stretched right now, so yes, you will feel hungry. However, eventually your body will be trained by eating smaller meals and it will shrink. That is, if you have the willpower to accept that you will be hungry at first and that you don't HAVE to eat every half hour. Try every 2 or 3 hours.

seriously drinking does fill you up - you're probably de-hydrated. try some fruit/ herbal tea that you like and drink it before everything you eat. Eat something healthy before a meal (fruit/ salad). Do exercise before a meal - does actually suppress appetite!

You need to eat a high protein diet. Also eat fruit and nuts in between meals to keep your metabolism going. Follow an online weight loss program to help you lose weight. A great one is http://www.alfitness.com.au

I understand your pain..... I too used to feel hungry all day long

don't take full meal....take less amount of food at a time....in this way it won't matter how many times you eat in a day

you don't say how many times you eat per day or if you do exercise.

Remember 5 meals per day spread evenly will help you overeating at a main meal. Exercise can help supress the hunger,

more info but good luck

If you brush your teeth frequently, it'll help you resist he urge of eating because no one likes the taste of toothpaste in their food. :P

Also, you also get a feeling of "clean" that you don't want to ruin by eating right after.
