It's a ridiculous scam. Aloe has nothing to do with fat loss. "Clean" has no clear definition in nutrition. And "detox" is just impossible. That's a silly name to hook the suckers. Don't be one. Read my answer about how to lose fat --> https://answersrip.com/question/index?qid=20111028185603AAVcP4D .

"Detox" is short for detoxification and detoxification is a natural process involving your liver and kidneys and there is nothing you can do to effect it. It is impossible to detoxify a human once the toxin is in the blood with the possible exception of kidney dialysis, kelation therapy, and other expensive medical modalities. Currently "detox" is a faddist word, relatively meaningless, and is used to express that which the users cannot otherwise express because of ignorance or because the expression would be patently false.

Detox diets, cleanses, and supplements don't work. There is no diet which will cause your body to get rid of toxins, heavy metals, poisonous by-products from smoking, drugs, etc. And cleanses for the purpose of weight loss don't work because they can only eliminate water and small amounts of waste which the body will replace very quickly.

Check out these reliable references. Listen to experts, not a random bunch of strangers of unknown credibility in this and other forums. Here's what the experts have to say about cleanses.

Your body cleanses itself naturally. And cleanses, purges, emetics, enemas, alternative and homeopathic colon cleanses etc. cannot remove fat from your body or make your body lose fat and/or toxins. If fat is your problem, you're eventually going to realize that nothing works except a proper diet for life or surgery. The best diet for all normal adults hasn't changed. It is still a varied, balanced, nutritious, and properly apportioned diet of high quality foods.

Detoxification is a fad and a fantasy only. If you have reason to believe you're toxic, consult with your doctor. Don't waste your time paying attention to advertising hype, naturopathic gurus, homeopathic charlatans, etc. The road to good health is paved with science. If you or someone you love gets deathly ill, you will take them to a place where medical science is practiced. So, where is the sense in abandoning medical science in favor of baseless and unscientific methods of quacks and charlatans.

Good luck and good health!!

I tried the Clean 9 diet and to be honest I wasn t completely satisfied at all. The weight loss was at a complete minimum, I think the only way I could ve lost the amount of weight stated was if I remained on the detox for a whole year.. And the side affects! Firstly aloe vera is a moisturiser NOT a drink! I spent the majority of the 9 days on the toilet! And don t even get me started on the hair loss, it was absolutely everywhere! Not sure if it was the detox flushing my body of its vitamins but I literally couldn t hold onto my hair even if I tried! If I were to give any advice on my experience it would be go to the gym and eat clean. It s the best if not the only way to lose weight and feel better in yourself.

If you want to eat truly healthy, lose body fat consistently, normalize your blood pressure, cholesterol levels, prevent cancer, and even boost your brain health and energy levels, you may have heard all over the news that the Paleo Diet has been found to be one of the best methods of achieving all of these benefits compared to any other popular "fad" diets out there. Go here https://tinyurl.im/aHMXU

The truth is that the Paleo Diet will never be considered a fad because it's just simply the way that humans evolved to eat over approximately 2 million years. And eating in a similar fashion to our ancestors has been proven time and time again to offer amazing health benefits, including prevention of most diseases of civilization such as cancer, heart disease, alzheimers, and other chronic conditions that are mostly caused by poor diet and lifestyle. One of the biggest misunderstandings about the Paleo Diet is that it's a meat-eating diet, or a super low-carb diet. This is not true

I have used aloe vera in a diet. I lost 25 pounds in a month.. I did keep the weight off for a year. When I went to nursing school I gained 30 pounds.. I was structed to diet with healthy compact snacks with vitamins. I also drank 1/3n cup of aloe juice a day mixed into tea, juices. I was told the aloe was a natural healer. I also was on an 1800 calorie diet. I did an colon cleans first.. I did detox, with shaves and mood changes. after the third day of new diet and cleans. Then I felt wonderful after a couple days. my body was loving the new nutrition and my body did not "jones" for the bad stuff I was eating before. I also had plenty to eat. You would be surprised how much one can eat if you count an estimated 500-600 calories a meal.

Yes, I;ve done the Clean 9 and would recommend it to anyone - I felt so healthy, cleansed and full of energy afterwards. I had done a 3 day fruit diet some years ago which was tough - the Clean 9 was easy in comparison! Yes, I also lost weight - read my experience of this here - http://healthyweightlosshq.blogspot.com

I agree with Clickmaster below with regard to some of the detox diets advertised - some can actually do more harm than good which is why doing your research is important.

What is different about the Clean 9 program is that it gently cleanses the digestive tract while ensuring you are getting a full compliment of all the vitamins and minerals your body needs.

Again, there is no scientific or medical evidence to support most detox programs - nevertheless, people report feeling better afterwards and you can't argue with that. If you have heard about it, get more info below - or check out the video and online magazine here - http://www.squidoo.com/clean-9-detox

Best of luck if you decide to do it,

The most natural and healthy diet for humans is an omnivorous diet, and not a plant based diet, or a meat-based diet per se. The Paleo Diet can be very widely varied and omnivorous for the most part, but the most important thing is that it’s unprocessed, and avoids the worst foods that agriculture brought mankind… refined inflammatory vegetable oils, refined grains (some are worse than others), and sugar! As you can see, the benefits of adopting a Paleo way of eating can be incredible! I’ve been eating 95% Paleo for the last 5-6 years and I’ve never felt better. I have dozens of friends that have adopted a more Paleo way of eating too, and have seen all sorts of health problems disappear, including eliminating acne and other skin problems, digestion problems, improving brain clarity, and of course, losing a lot of body fat!
