There are no fruits or vegetables without carbohydrates. That is why the people who developed the low-carb diet didn't go that far.

Foods without carbohydrates are meat, fish, seafood, and eggs.

Hard cheeses like cheddar have very little.

Sorry. Why don't you try a low-carb diet?

I'm including a link to the USDA nutritional database so you can look up any food you want. Just put the name of the food in the search box.

Okay I lost a lot of weight, over a hundred pounds and have largely done it restricting carbs. But you cannot get by and have a healthy life on NO carbs. It doesn't make any sense to do so. Fruits will always be high in carbs. Veggies, if you stick to the green ones, have very limited carbs. Also, when counting carbs you need to subtract grams of fiber from total carbs. So if you eat enough broccoli for 5 grams of carbs, but it has 5 grams of fiber (I didn't check this, I'm inventing numbers here) then you actually can say zero carbs ingested. But anyway, you can't succeed on no carbs. Just remember green vegetables and plenty of them, all kinds. Why are you eating only the egg whites? You can't do low carb and low cholesterol at the same time. You can have any meats you want, any fish you want. All the green veggies you can hold. Cheese (most kinds anyway). Nuts can be eaten in moderation, tofu if you like it, again in moderation.

I was on the Atkins diet once--be careful--low carb/no carb diets throw you into ketosis which is VERY hard on the kidneys. Anyway, the way I remembered what to eat, was, what was available to caveman??? Meat, eggs, animal products. (cheese--I know--they didn't have cheese, but it's an animal product). However it kept me from eating lunchmeat, hotdogs, etc, because processed meats have carbs because of nitrites, so unprocessed meats were available to caveman. All vegetables have carbs, some are very low carb, though. Peppers, okra, green beans, are low carb--but no breading. Absolutely no breading. You can have diet drinks/diet sodas, water. NO fruits--all have carbs.

And there, you have it. I used to go to a pizza buffet, get lots of pizza, and scrape the topping off and eat it!!! Finally, they got to when they saw me coming, they told me they'd be happy, if I'd tell them what toppings I wanted, they'd make me a bowl of just toppings!!!!

You really need to ask your doctor.

If you're following the Atkins diet, you should look up resources on the web on how to follow it. You have to do this in stages. Suddenly cutting all carbs out of your diet is VERY unhealthy. What are your reasons for doing it? It's a bad way to lose weight-- you have to do things right for the Atkins diet to work, and even then, you're cutting the bottom of the food period out of your diet. If you want to lose weight and feel good, you should be eating a balanced diet that is low in sugar and fat. Exercise daily.

But, my mom's diabetic. She has to be careful about carbs. She also says there are good carbs and bad carbs. Fruits, veggies, and whole grains are good carbs, so if you have to cheat, cheat by eating whole-grain breads instead of white stuff. Oatmeal is also whole grain.

Here are some 0 carb foods:

- meat (fish, beef, bacon, chicken, ham, hot dogs...)

- butter, cheese, milk

- mayonnaise

- peanut butter

- 0 carb meal drinks like SlimFast and Ensure. Atkins diet bars.

- water (8 glasses a day is always great for your health.)

Remember that it's possible to be thin and have high cholesterol at the same time. I hope you enjoy your triple bypass surgery when you're 45.

- Just go through the store and look at the Nutritional Information on anything that catches your eye. They always list carbs. Nowadays, if a food has 0 carbs, it announces it in big, eyecatching words on its front label.

There are also low-carb versions of bread, candy, ice cream, etc.

But seriously, if you're doing this just to lose weight, I'd say DON'T DO IT. Your body is designed to run on 10+ servings of carbs per day. You should never cut a food group out of your diet. Just eat smaller, healthier meals that are low in fat and contain no sugar, and exercise every day.

PLEASE ask your doctor for dieting advice. She'll give you a plan that is easy and enjoyable to follow, you'll get to eat a large variety of foods and won't be hungry all day! A lot of diet plans you get on the internet and in magazines will get 15 pounds off of you fast and then you gain it all back the moment you stop eating nothing but kale every day! You can't trust the internet for dieting advice. Please please please get pamphlets and books and reliable websites and reliable free diet/nutrition consultants from your doctor.

Trust me, you CAN lose just as much weight in a much healthier and enjoyable way.

Theres a better way to loose fat than No Carbs all the time. It's kind of like no carbs, but it isn't.

NoCarbs-For one day you eat no carbs at all. You can have green vegetables if you want. The carbs in green veggies is really low and won't make a difference. But no fruits at all.

Low Carbs-For the second day you have as many grams of carbs as lbs of weight you are. If you're 100 pounds have 100 grams of carbs. And the carbs have to be healthy.

High Carbs-For the third day have as many grams of carbs as you want. Just make sure they're healthy (beans, legumes, sweet potatoes, oats, etc)

As for the protein, have as many grams of protein as you weigh. Have this amount every day, whether its no carb or high carb.

Fats, have about 30 grams of fat a day on all days.

Try dividing the foods into 6 meals. On low carb days have 3 of the meals with carbs, on high carb days have 4 of the meals with carbs. And try to taper the carbs, have your carbs in the morning and not at night.

The scedule for a week would be like this

mon-no carbs

tuesday-low carbs

wednesday-high carbs

thursday-No Carbs

friday- Low carbs

Saturday- No Carbs

Sunday- High Carbs

This diet is great because you have something to look fowrard to. And it's not like no carb diets where you end up eating really unhealthy fats and stuff.

I put my friend on this diet and she lost like 30 pounds.

he metabolic powers certain foods have to make your physique burn a lot more body fat.” It is a way of rating foods, primarily based on “how several calories your body is going to burn just breaking down the nutrients every time you consume a particular food.”

Therefore, you are not alone in this battle.

meat does not have carbs - you can eat strawberries, raspberries, lettuce, cheese, pickles, almonds...get yourself an Atkins diet book. But beware the blood pressure spike.

i would do a more balanced diet of raw fruits and veggies and a really light dressing...you also should try and eat yogurt or some kinda of calcium. your body needs nutrients and in moderation you won't gain weight, you'll lose it. but taking care of yourself should take precedence over your weight loss...you can have both. Good Luck!

fruits and veggies are sure the best for this zero-carb diet. you can eat seafood because it's high in protein...

burgers without the bread. chicken. bacon. meats. hotdogs without the bun. you will need some carbs of course because if you do not have some carbs you could have renal failure.
