Should one take Omega 3-6-9 AND Tonalin CLA or would this throw off the balance, be duplicating something or otherwise not be advisable?

I highly recommend you try omega 3 first, there are a free bottle available. As long as I used to take, PurityProducts is the best overall

go to the first link i put in the sources below and scroll down to where it says the dosage for children relating to their ages and weight. in MY opinion, i would only give my kid Omega 3, there is enough Omega 6 in all the garbage we as Americans eat on a daily basis, the ratio of Omega 6 to Omega 3 is about 20 to 1 in the average diet and that is bad, too much Omega 6 is related to health issues including tumor growth and some forms of cancer. you need to keep a decent level of Omega 3 in the system, don't give any additional Omega 6 or 9 at all. i've researched the crap out of this because my daughter has a tumor in her neck and we both have adhd... Omega 3 has helped me with me focus more than i can say... i am also talking to my daughters doctor about including a decent dose of Omega 3 into her diet as there have been studies showing Omega 3 to reduce tumor growth. don't give your kids additional Omega 6, it's the bad Omega, it's only good if it's balanced with Omega 3 about 1 to 1, (i think). for an adult they say to keep the Omega 3 under 2grams (2000mg's), but i would say stay under 1 gram (1000mg's). for your kid, look at the chart for your childs age, then figure the dosage per pound of the childs weight. and buy the Fish Oil from the site i have below because they are Rx grade, meaning they take all the bad stuff out of the fish. i get it from there and it's the only brand that is affective for me. for you i would suggest Ultimate Omega / 2 pills a day. don't do away with Omega 6 and 9 totally, it's just we allready get a decent amount of it thru what we normally eat, we in America are low on Omega 3. the best to you and yours.... Tighe looking at the other posts i will say IN MY OPINION for your kid 750mg's a day of Omega 3 for better focus (check with your doctor). i never heard about the vitamin A and liver damage (yet), the pills i mentioned have vitamin E in them. low doses of Omega 3 are not helpful for me, i need to go a little higher than normal. the doses that are recommended are "maintenance" doses, go a little higher to get benefits for ADD or Bipolar disorder or Heart issues and such... email me if you want to go on further...
