It's All About The Beans And Water You go to bed at 2 AM and finally fall asleep by three That dang buzzer and snooze button really bugs me. It's 6:30 AM and I stumble to my tiny sardine kitchen, I stumble, hit my head, stubbed my toe not worth mention... I reach for My Sumatra beans and fill the grinder They spin around exactly as they should, none finer As I have been a corporate and franchise trainer Ahh! The aroma fills the house and I use the best Burr grinder. I take a deep breath and like wine swirl the mug, cupping Swirling in my mouth and finally I get the bones moving! Its taste and rich exotic blend are just what my veins need When they take me to the ER I tell its not blood I bleed So crank up your coffee grinders, no day old left over Or sat on top a warmer, burns the drink and its a reminder Tomorrow I better stop and get my beans and clean the liner. How much to add, one scoops or two, it's really up to you Just know that at my house you will be served Java, true! Without my favorite mug and traveling one as well, There is only one thing I will really yell and tell Where are my beans. my mugs? it's a crisis too! The worst ever was when I forgot to pay the water bill Had ground my beans, and went to fill the water until Not one drop came out and I cried and screamed The last thing you want is to see me in your wildest dreams I dont want chemicals put in me when I die, just an elite Dark Roast blendid exquisite, perhaps one day will meet... But for now it's back to coffee and doctoral study prose There is nothing better than a great hot java, not even a rose! Valrie in Ocala FL

Surpisingly, excess amounts of caffeine cunsumed on a weekly basis has a direct correlation with your energy level, levels of stress, emotional state, and perception.

I was once enrolled in an Interpersonal Communitcations course where the instructor handed out a list of dailyt items that contain caffeine. W e were to record how many servings of soda pop or coffe, or energy drinks in a week.

The results showed that those studentsa suffering from anxiety when presented with in class asignments and public speaking exercises, were consuming more caffeine than should be.

I work in an office as a marketing analyst. I have access to all the free starbucks I can use, but HELL NO!

First off, your daily cup of joe conditions not only your body, but also your mind into dependency. The amount of sugar in your blood stream is low during the early hours and in the evening (aropund 4pm) ironically, these are the same time frames that people end up falling asleep behind the wheel.

Keep snacks in your purse for when you crave a little boost.

But your best bet is to eat a hearty breakfast or start off your day with an apple or an orange. Make a habit of cutting down on the amount of caffeine you take and EAT MORE FRUITS!

There's an alternative; drink tea. Not only is idoes it contain naturally protective antioxidants, you dont worry so much about the stench of your breath!

Eat an apple in the morning. Apples have natural sugars that provide more of a boost than 1 cup of regular coffee.

Tea's a good starter- especially if it's herbal. I drink that instead of Coffee a lot. Besides that, their are tons of fun flavors you can pick from to make each morning new and different.

Apples. They're proven to be more efficient at waking you up in the morning than a cup of coffee, plus they're good for you. :)
