Hey guys, so I'm Asian...
Any ways like all Asians we usually have White Rice for dinner. I started body building for a few years now and have always been eating white rice for dinner which consists of high GI. So I know after working out you're not supposed to eat anything high in carbs for dinner, mostly just proteins, but I have no choice as because i still live with my parents. So my question is, can i just replace my white rice with Brown Rice instead? and this will be a better choice as brown rice is Low GI? and of course i will eat less of rice and more vegies and meat for dinner.

Thank You! :)

white rice is made from brown rice, it just doesnt have the brown skin. they both have moderate glycemic index. dont cut out carbs completely, you still need some while bodybuilding. in my opinion white rice is better as it cooks faster. brown rice does have extra fiber though. it wont make much of a difference for you, though.

best of luck.

Brown rice is the healthiest and the lowest GI, although if you really prefer white then choose basmati. White basmati is the lowest GI of the white rices.

It is best to eat white rice it contains no chemical and it is good for health and instead brown rice is also made from white rice. eating more meat is also harmful to health. you should eat lots of soup and water.

I don't know which is healthier but my wife doesn't like the way brown rice cooks in an electric rice cooker
