Going to the gym... but gaining weight instead of losing? I really need some help please :(?

I'm going to the gym 3-4 days a week, doing treadmill for about 20-30 minutes at 7km/hr. Then I do about 30-60 minutes of weights.

My eating pattern is like:
Breakfast: 1 Glass of soy milk
Mid-morning: Steamed veggies with salt and pepper to taste
Lunch: Depends on the day but usually I will have carbs - i.e. small bowl of pasta bake, spaghetti bolognese, fettucini carbonara etc.
Mid-afternoon: Diet Jelly or fruit
Dinner: Lean meat (tuna, steak, chicken breast/thigh) and salad
Drinks: between 1-2 L of water a day, diet soft drink and about 2-3 cups of green tea, plus multi-vitamins and all that stuff too

What am I doing wrong?
I have a lot of protein in my diet...

This is my diet analysis from calorieking
37% of the calories are from fat, 30% from protein, 33% from carbs

please help as currently i am 5'7" and weighing now 85kg!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ugh..
I need to get down to 65kgs... =(

You could be gaining muscle mass.



Start taking measurements asap. (Shoulder, chest, forearms, butt, thighs, calves, neck, etc) Then continue taking them bi-weekly. Keep a record.



Then when you gain weight you can look at your measurements and understand if it's more muscular rather than fat.



Whether your a weight lifter or trying to lose extra weight this will always help you mentally when it comes to plateaus or minor weight gains.

You are in the process of losing fat and gaining muscle. I wouldnt be so concerned about how much you weigh, but how you look and feel. You may want to revamp your diet. Not only the percentage of protein and carbs, but when you are eating them make a difference too.

I recommend you my diet way. It works just amazing and fast. If you are very serious about losing weight. You should have a look diet correct way. It will work for you if you do it correct. instead of pasta for lunch eat a grilled chicken salad or a lean sub no mayo!!....that pasta is killing you

your just gaining muscule probably...and fix the lunch...thats not good :(
